On last night's Moral Maze, one Niki Adams, from "the English Collective of Prostitutes" (can anyone think of a collective noun for prostitutes?), spewed forth her scorn for the shelf-stackers and call centre workers whom she regards as lower than herself and her - what is the word? - colleagues.
