Nothing To Debate

There should not be televised debates between the Party Leaders in the run-up to the General Election. We shall be electing a Parliament, not a President. Sky News is trying to become Fox. It shouldn't. And the Prime Minister, or anyone who aspires to that office, should not be egging it on. Never mind the BBC or ITN.

  1. Ah, the rot must of started when we in Scotland started having party leader debates before the Scottish elections. They still happen regularly since the elections although Salmond is always substituted by Nicola Sturgeon.

It all sort of started during the devolution debates in the 1990s. That was when Ian Lang, Dewar, Salmond and Malcolm Bruce went head to head in the so-called "Usher Hall Debate".

Something else for you to blame devolution on--------
