Desiring The Wrong

Of course David Cameron sees nothing to negotiate with regard to the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands.

Since before the General Election, he has promised Argentina a share in Falkland Islands oil revenue without any move on that subject. Who will refuse to negotiate on either matter?

Who, moreover, will say out loud exactly what the whole decades-long saga of the Falklands dispute says about the utility both of the Atlantic "Alliance" and of the nuclear "deterrent"?

Ed Miliband and Jon Cruddas, over to you.
