Harriet Harman Shot The Sherriff

And tonight, she has jumped the shark.

Post below the line what you feel might be the real reasons why she was never made Deputy Prime Minister.

The Deputy Leadership of the Labour Party has effectively been vacant for years. There is no shortage of more than credible candidates.

Being elected, the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party cannot be sacked. But she can deliberately make her own position untenable because she has had enough.

Harriet Harman is 63, and has been an MP for 32 years.

  1. From the first national newspaper to break the Harriet Harman/PIE story-and the current Parliamentary paedophile ring-comes a scathing piece from Lord Lawson on how the Left-wing BBC has decided to shut out climate change sceptics from its programmes after a complaint by the Green Party.

As on so many things it's the only paper that would publish this-and is consistently better than any of its critics.

    1. The first national newspaper to break the PIE story, at least in recent years, was the Daily Telegraph on 9th March 2009.

Martin Beckford had been in touch with me about it all, and there it was.

But that newspaper was too spineless or too compromised to put it on the front page where it belonged. Martin no longer works for it.

Indeed, rumour has it that almost no one is going to be working there before long. But that would be off topic.
