Nuclear Options

Nuclear weapons, but no Army, Navy or Air Force to speak of? Admit it. You should have voted Labour. It would have been much better for defence.
In any case, the real nuclear deterrent is the civil nuclear power long advocated by Unite and by Gordon Brown, but which David Cameron has called "the last resort".
Of course Russia is not going to bomb us. Nor we her. But we do always need to control our own energy supply.

As we perfectly easily could. With nuclear power.

And our huge reserves of coal. Instead, we import it. How mad is that?

As for today's bellowing by the St James's club bores that Norman Lamont, Jack Straw and Ben Wallace have become "the Iran Lobby", Iran is now our key strategic partner and ally against the ISIS Caliphate.

The ISIS Caliphate that we created in the first place. Ignoring, as we did, the very strong advice of Iran.

Anywhere, it hardly seems necessary to name where, that might get in the way of this key strategic partnership and alliance, need only ask them in Eastern Europe about Churchill, Roosevelt and Yalta.
