China has no business telling British parliamentarians what they may or may not discuss, or what their conclusions ought to be.
Nor has the Executive or the Judiciary, the City or the Press, the United States or the State of Israel, Saudi Arabia or Qatar, the Russian oligarchs or the institutions of the European Union.
To name but a few.
Hong Kong, incidentally, is one the great standing contradictions of the myth of the Iron Lady. Rather, it is one of the great demonstrations, although not the only one, that she was indeed a Peking Plotter.
