Muster

This banning strikes business is a sign that the Conservatives are so convinced that they are going to lose, they are now just having a laugh.

We have been here before, when they went into the 1997 Election promising to put VAT on food, to introduce charges for visiting the doctor, and to withdraw the state retirement pension from people who were already claiming it.

They have not enjoyed their brief return to office. They had thought that it would be nothing more than a jolly lark, a public school muster. It has not been.

Speaking of public school musters, does anyone seriously doubt that there has been, if there is not still, an element of sexual violence to the Bullingdon Club?

And we are not talking about Ched Evans here. We are talking about women who remembered every second of it, even if their assailants did not.

What says the Prime Minister, or the Chancellor of the Exchequer, or the Mayor of London?
