This Government has cut defence to the bone and beyond. But if this or any other General Election were about defence, then the Conservatives would win it. Them's the rules.
Likewise, even if the lurid claims of the Government about Andy Burnham's record, about the NHS in Wales, and so on, were true (they are not, but even if they were), then if there were a General Election about the NHS, then Labour would still win it. Them's the rules.
This General Election is going to be about the NHS. So Labour is going to win it. Them's the rules.
