Terry Pratchett was only the latest example of how, if you have a pedestrian mind, then you will probably keep it to the end.
But if you have the mind of Iris Murdoch, or Harold Wilson, or Margaret Thatcher, or Terry Pratchett, well, there is always a trade-off for anything, isn't there?
