A major step towards the two per cent defence spending target would be the scrapping of Trident.
Spend the money on defence instead.
Not that our defence policy ought to be dictated by the American military-industrial complex.
Nor by the Baltic States, which ought to be asked why they spent practically nothing on their own defence while expecting us to protect them from some bogeyman in whom they obviously did not believe.
