Dependent

Re-elect the Coalition, says The Independent.

But the Coalition is not on the ballot paper.

This editorial effectively calls for nothing more than a vote for the incumbent wherever there is one, and for the incumbent's party wherever there is not.

How dreadfully depressing.

Whereas The Times is hilarious, calling for an Occupy-style operation in Downing Street if the electorate has the temerity to defy Rupert Murdoch.

It's all over, and everyone knows that it is.
