Better Late Than Never?

I find it baffling enough that Adam Johnson was in that particular nightclub at all at his age.

But to have been reported by a 15-year-old's dad?

Nice of the patriarch to turn up eventually, I suppose.

    They must have had something really bad on him. Normally "I met her in a pub/club" would make it impossible to prove you didn't reasonably assume she was at least 1. 15 in a nightclub, you're right, it's shocking parenting.

    He is never 10 years younger than us. I know they drink but so did we.

    Obviously the law is the law, but in many civilised countries 15 is over the age of consent.

      Then they are less civilised than here, by definition. Adolescent experimentation ought to be addressed in other ways, but this kind of thing is very much a matter for the criminal law.
