The only person to have led the Conservative Party to an overall majority since 1992 is resigning from Parliament rather than support the restoration of Secondary Moderns.
Already restored to his Times column, Michael Gove may very well be the next to go.
Oh, well, the Conservatives can console themselves with the return of Emma Nicholson, who has never had the faintest idea what she thought on any issue, but who can no longer accommodate herself to the party for people like that.
So, instead, she has gone Blue again.
