On this Sapphire Jubilee, ponder that in the last 25 years, Britain has become one of those countries which abolished the monarchy and then brought it back again.
If the Queen had died 20 years ago, then the monarchy would have died with her.
But if she died tonight, then there would simply be no question at all of anything like that.
